Plant Strawberries

Strawberries growing but not producing?

Question by Andy: Strawberries growing but not producing?
I started a strawberry plant a year ago and, from the initial plant, it has expanded to around 10-12 new shoots. The only one producing any fruit is the first 1-2 that were planted. Is it normal that the older ones are producing while the younger ones are not or is there something else I can do? It’s expanding well but I’d like for it to start producing more fruit.

I know that it takes a while for strawberry plants to start producing. I would say 1-2 years. I think that your plants are just fine.
