Can you plant strawberries in the winter, in southwest florida?

Question by Kristina: Can you plant strawberries in the winter, in southwest florida?
i just got these strawberry seeds from target and now, im trying to plant them. so is it ok to plant them in winter in florida? if it is when should they bloom?

    Well.. I would have to search myself to see what the weather is like in south Florida, as I don’t live anywhere close to here to know how warm it is.

    So.. do a search and see what temp strawberries need to be at to grow and your seeds will tell you or should tell you how long until they’re mature. Take a week or a bit more off that time as they obviously bloom before the produce fruit.

    strawberries have to have chill hours which you wont get in southern fl. besides always get plants seeds are iffy at best
